  • The summer intensive consists of 60 students between the ages of 14 and 18. If you are unsure if you qualify, please reach out to our team.

  • Please review our General Audition Information page for everything you will need to submit your application. 

  • Yes, there will be a Pre-Intensive Zoom meeting for all students to ensure everyone is ready for the week ahead. It is recommended that you come prepared a notebook and a pen.

    In addition to this Zoom meeting, the first day of the program will begin with a brief orientation before proceeding to the dance evaluation.

  • All fees are non-refundable. If you find that you have paid half of your tuition and can no longer attend, you will only lose the deposit. However, should you wish to attend a future session, we may transfer the enrollment.

  • Your tuition covers a light breakfast and lunch each day. Please note that dinner is not included.

  • Applications will be accepted for review until May 1st. After this time, we cannot guarantee that our staff will review your application. While you can submit your videos after this time, your submission will be automatically placed on the waitlist after any students who submitted their materials within the application time frame.

  • Classes will consist of dancing, singing and acting. Be prepared with 2 to 3 32 bar cuts of songs you love to sing.

  • Our students’ safety is our top priority. StageArts is a structured, supervised program with clear procedures throughout the week:

    • Supervision: Students are supervised at all times by StageArts staff, including a Program Director.

    • Transitions: No unsupervised movement between sessions—staff oversee all transitions and breaks.

    • Check-in/out: Daily check-in and controlled release; alternate pickups require advance written authorization.

    • Emergencies: We collect emergency/medical info in advance and will contact parents/guardians immediately if an issue arises, escalating to emergency services as needed.

    • Conduct: We uphold professional, respectful rehearsal-room standards; any behavior impacting safety or wellbeing is addressed promptly.

    • Facilities: All activities take place in professional studio settings, and families receive program logistics and policies in advance.

  • No, students/parents will be responsible for obtaining their own housing while in NYC for the intensive. Additionally, students/parents will be responsible for getting themselves to the studio each day of classes.
